Shiraishi-Omya GmbH, a trusted partner

Shiraishi-Omya GmbH is a joint venture underway in Gummern (Austria) between Shiraishi and Omya. Precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) production technology perfected in Japan is now at work in Austria, where Shiraishi-Omya makes ultrafine grades of coated PCC in powder form at the Golling plant, 20 kilometers south of Salzburg.

 

In the Japanese market, Shiraishi’s Hakuenka® brand carries a decades-long reputation for outstanding quality in ultrafine PCC. Now, those same Hakuenka® products are being produced in Europe as well."
