Omya’s scholarship program is designed to offer incentives for the development of Vermont’s future workforce by assisting students in their educational pursuits. Each spring, Omya in Vermont makes available over $10,000 in academic scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Rutland and Addison counties. To qualify, applicants must be accepted into an accredited college or university with plans to pursue a degree in a field of science or engineering. Scholarships are awarded to students based on their academic achievements and involvement and leadership within their schools and communities. Several of the recipients have taken advantage of summer internships at Omya to gain career experience.

Scholarship applications are available to students only through their respective high school Guidance Counselors.

We believe the recipients of these scholarships are exceptional individuals and we congratulate each of them for their dedication and many accomplishments.
