The Infrastructure Solutions Manager is responsible for leading the Design and Implementation of innovative, cost efficient and customer-centric solutions in his Functional or Technical domain, which align with the new DTX operating model of Omya. The Infrastructure Solutions Manager oversees a team of solution leads and specialists who work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement solutions that meet the business needs and strategic objectives of Omya.
Job Description
- Define and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for infrastructure solution design and implementation in the corresponding Functional or Technical domain.
- Ensure that solutions are designed and implemented in accordance with the DTX quality standards, best practices, and methodologies.
- Ensure that solutions designed are financially viable to build and run; and aligned with the company’s economic environment.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of solutions, from ideation to implementation, ensuring that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of solution leads and specialists fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business units, clients, vendors, and partners.
- Work in close collaboration with his peers from the other solution design domains to ensure the delivery of end-to-end solutions.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to solutions design and implementation, and mitigate issues where needed.
- Monitor the performance and outcomes of solutions implemented to ensure lessons learned.
- Align with the Service Owners of the corresponding domains to understand and support their Service Improvement Plans.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in solution design and implementation, to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- At least 7 years of experience in solutions design and implementation, preferably in a digital transformation context.
- At least 3 years of experience in leading and managing teams of solution leads and specialists.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proven track record of designing complex and innovative solutions that meet business needs and strategic objectives.
- Strong knowledge and experience in applying technology service management, agile, lean, and DevOps principles and practices for solution design and implementation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with culturally diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and customer-centricity.
- Broad knowledge in actual IT (and preferably OT) technologies with a focus on Solution Design & Implementation for:
- Cloud Services (Azure, Google, AWS)
- M365 Services (Office 365, Teams, CoPilot etc)
- Identity Management Solutions such as Entra-ID/Directory Services
- PAM/PIM Services
- PKI Services
- Network Services / SD-Wan / Firewalling / Routing Switching
- Infrastructure as a Code knowledge would be a bonus (Biceps, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible).
Other requirements
Able to travel when needed.
