Omyasmart Next Generation

Omyasmart Next Generation (OSNG) was launched in 2022. It is well established in Europe, as well as in the Asia Pacific and Latin America regions. Omyasmart NG offers a high degree of flexibility: in addition to its shelf‑life booster performance, it also enables biocide‑free solutions at higher dosage levels. This is achieved through a synergistic effect driven by an elevated alkaline environment and increased salt content. Biocide‑free products represent a more sustainable and innovative approach and are experiencing growing demand among end consumer.

Omyasmart supports compliance with CLP/GHS biocide thresholds, enabling manufacturers of water‑based products to avoid hazardous labeling such as H317 while maintaining reliable storage stability.

 

Omyasmart Boost was developed specifically for the U.S. market and is currently under evaluation. Market launch will follow upon successful completion of this phase.

Other additives tend to have unpleasant odors or contain VOCs. Biocides are also still used to extend durability but are increasingly being formulated out due to significant health hazards, such as skin irritation, and the associated hazardous substance labelling and classification.
