Job main responsibilities
- Support the sales development for Omya products to Agricultural and Animal Health applications in New Zealand.
- Maintain a focus on promotion of fine lime, in the forms of Calciprill and other granulated fine products plus Omya Pro Soil and successfully introduce these to achieve widespread acceptance in the New Zealand market.
- Drive and grow sales of animal feed products.
- Build on the existing distribution network of agents across New Zealand to facilitate proper development and servicing of the market.
- Develop strong relationships with agronomists and key players in the Agricultural and related industries to successfully achieve widespread acceptance and market penetration of new products and concepts.
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Support and implementation of continuous improvement of processes and systems to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Science or Engineering
- Min. 5 years' experience in sales of agricultural and animal health products or related markets
- Team player, open communication style with willingness to impart and share knowledge at all levels. Good listening skills
- Excellent level of planning, development and implementation of sales and marketing plans.
- Computer literate in MS O0365 and experience in or willingness to learn and use SAP, Salesforce, Sequoia, OMIS, OPUS and other internal systems
- Preferred locations of the candidates are in the areas of King Country, Central Plateau, Taranaki, Manawatu, Hawkes Bay or Wellington
- Frequent travel within the sales territory and elsewhere in New Zealand as needed and occasionally beyond.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
