Exciting Career Opportunity at Omya’s Largest Plant as Process Engineer.

We currently have a vacancy as Process Engineer in Mineral Processing within our operations organization. This position plays an important role in our production management and reports directly to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Technical responsibility for the operation of the processing plant and ensuring correct product quality
• Transfer knowledge to, and train, shift personnel
• Ongoing monitoring and oversight of the department
• Take initiative and follow up on improvement projects
• Close cooperation with the rest of the operations organization
• BSc or MSc in chemistry, process engineering, mineralogy or other relevant competence
• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and oral
• Preferably experience from the process industry
