Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Service Center Representative. This role focuses on ensuring quality control, process compliance, and continuous improvement in procurement activities across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will manage order confirmations, support SAP data management, and help streamline procurement processes while addressing deviations and driving improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute quality and control reports for procurement processes, ensuring consistent system usage and adherence to guidelines.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities in areas like PO after invoice, payment term deviations, inbound deliveries, SAP contract checks, and order confirmation reviews.
  • Support local procurement teams by communicating deviations in order confirmations and documenting and linking procurement documents in SAP.
  • Create and update SAP contracts and info-records, ensuring data consistency and timely setup of missing information.
  • Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders, ensuring suppliers receive the necessary information on time.
  • Collaborate with local procurement teams to resolve issues, verify invoices, and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Provide administrative support to facilitate efficient task execution, covering colleagues during absences and providing backup to the Central Tactical Purchasing Team.
  • Ensure compliance with QSHE standards, maintaining safe working practices, and achieving a zero-incident workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative role, preferably in purchasing, ideally within an international company.
  • Experience in procurement or international business within the industrial chemical market is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken local language and English (min. C1 level).
  • Proficiency in an additional language (min. B1) is a plus.
  • Proficient in computer skills and standard office applications.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately input data
  • Ideally, experience with SAP.
