Head of Maintenance & Reliability

Description

As the Head of Maintenance & Reliability you'll be responsible for enhancing equipment reliability and optimizing maintenance practices across all manufacturing sites in the region. The role focuses on implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, reducing downtime, and improving asset performance. The position collaborates with local maintenance teams and global functional leads to ensure alignment with best practices and strategic objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead regional maintenance and reliability improvement programs.

  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Support local teams in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.

  • Coordinate regional benchmarking of maintenance KPIs and practices.

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and training across maintenance teams.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

  • Support capital investment planning related to asset reliability.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance management, reliability engineering, or industrial operations.

  • Expertise in maintenance and reliability methodologies (e.g., TPM, RCM).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with CMMS and equipment performance monitoring tools.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional improvement initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

  • Excellent command of both oral and written local language and English are required.

  • Ability to travel 40-60% of the time within the region.
