Key Accountabilities
- Manage SEQ and legislative compliance for the Bathurst maintenance workers (employees and contractors) and ensure plans are in place to manage the day-to-day maintenance to meet/exceed customer requirements, whilst comply with all policies and regulations.
- Ensure the efficient and cost effective operation of the Bathurst maintenance team to meet business demand.
- Ensure all site maintenance monthly reporting occurs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Direct people leadership and management responsibilities for all site maintenance personnel (employees and contractors).
- Develop, plan and implement site capital projects and expenditures program.
- Project management for site projects up to the value of $250K.
- Direct priorities and activities for daily, routine, corrective and breakdown maintenance requirements.
- Maintain Bathurst process plant and Bathurst quarry fixed plant to optimize operating availability
- Implement and maintain the computer maintenance management management system.
- Procurement of spare parts, engineering supplies and consumables.
- Managing spare parts inventory
- Process and production optimization and continuous improvement
- Process and production problem solving.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Formal technical qualifications (Engineering, maintenance or related)
- 5 years of experience in similar role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, social competence and a strong team player
- Highly motivated and results oriented
- Ability to find solutions and proactively solve problems
- Ability to manage projects and drive to completion
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Occasional travel to support the business and for professional development
