Omya completes acquisition of Distrupol to create global polymers distribution business

On February 19, 2025, Omya completed its acquisition of Distrupol to create the global Omya Performance Polymer Distribution business. Omya Performance Polymer Distribution represents leading polymer manufacturers, distributing a wide portfolio of specialty materials to the global polymer industry.

The newly created business combines Omya’s existing Engineered Materials business in Europe, the Americas, China, Southeast Asia, India and Africa, with its first acquisition, Distrupol, a leading polymer distributor in the UK, Ireland and the Nordic countries.
