Ecologue® sustainable materials
Ecologue® brings together CHIMEI's sustainable material technologies, providing manufacturers with lower-carbon and circular alternatives while maintaining the quality, performance, and processing consistency required for demanding applications. The portfolio includes mechanically recycled, chemically recycled, and biomass-balanced plastics and rubber solutions.
Mechanically recycled options include rABS, rPC, and rPC/ABS, incorporating recycled feedstocks to reduce reliance on virgin materials and support more circular product strategies. For applications requiring high levels of optical and aesthetic performance, Ecologue® CR chemically recycled solutions include rSMMA and rMABS, using recycled MMA derived through depolymerization and purification technologies to provide performance comparable with conventional virgin materials while reducing the use of fossil-based raw materials.
The portfolio also includes biomass-balanced plastics and rubber, where renewable feedstocks are used as an alternative to conventional fossil resources.
