As the Senior Account Manager of Engineered Materials, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships using our broad material portfolio from our suppliers, like PA, POM, ABS, PPS, PC, PBT, TPU, PP compounds …and many more.
You will be a member of the Team East Europe and you will closely work with Customer Service, Marketing, Product Management and Technical Service.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategy: expand market share and achieve revenue goals, with a focus on driving sales of value-added engineering materials. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monitor performance, and generate reports to highlight key achievements and growth opportunities
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and ensure high satisfaction levels. Reach out to new customers and prospects to extend pipeline growth
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and competitive insights, tailoring strategies to maximize sales of specified engineering compounds.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and engineering materials, promote innovative products
- Budget Management: Oversee sales budgets, manage expenses, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards across all sales activities.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
- Proven sales management experience, preferably within engineering materials or manufacturing sectors at material suppliers, compounders or in distribution.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in the local language, with fluency in English and Czech (additional languages are a plus).
- A results-driven mindset with a track record of taking customer projects from concept to execution.
- Analytical abilities to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Enthusiasm to travel extensively (more than 60%) to engage with clients and expand market reach.
