The Production Operator will perform a variety of tasks including the setup, maintenance, operation, and testing of all systems, products, and machines related to the production process. In addition, our Operators will be expected to be proficient in forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift operation, all in accordance with our quality and safety procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain safe working conditions and practices to achieve a zero (0) lost time injury record within the area of responsibility. Perform daily safety and mechanical inspections of work area and equipment.

Follow all company safety regulations. Report immediately any accidents, safety violations, or other incidents to the area supervisor.

Ability to operate and perform maintenance on all equipment related to the production process.

Ability to assist Lead Operators in adjusting set points based on lab data and situation; immediately making corrective actions to any process equipment producing product which does not meet our quality standards.

Ensure product contamination does not occur during product changes or when starting/stopping equipment.

Assist in communication and completion of tasks assigned by supporting departments, such as laboratory, automation, maintenance, and engineering. Ensuring quality production and efficient resolutions to problems.

Respond to emergency situations under the direction of the Lead Operator, such as safety or environmental concerns, power outages, and other emergency calls.

Ability to work overtime and accept call-ins on occasion.

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent. Skills and abilities to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other industrial equipment. Computer literate. Ability to read, understand, and communicate various procedures. Mechanical, electrical, and operational troubleshooting skills. Mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to work in various environmental conditions. Must be able to lift up to and including 75 lbs., as well as, the ability to perform various physical requirements; such as reaching, climbing, lifting, moving on and off industrial equipment, and various other activities required for the position.
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour.
