BASIC FUNCTION:
Prevent equipment failure and extend equipment life by assisting in the servicing of all plant electrical equipment as prescribed by the equipment manufacturer, in accordance with maintenance schedules and as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintains safe working conditions and practices to achieve a zero (0) lost time injury record within the area of responsibility.
· Perform work duties in accordance with the Quality System Manual procedures as applicable.
· Possess sufficient maintenance experience to understand the basic operation and function of commonly used industrial electrical equipment.
· Under direct supervision install, service, and effectively troubleshoot basic electrical power and control circuits and devices throughout the plant.
· Occasionally responds to call-ins (nights, weekends, and holidays) to perform basic electrical equipment repairs.
· Conduct visual inspections of electrical equipment to identify when non-routine maintenance work is needed.
· Reads, understands, and uses basic wiring diagrams, sketches, and schematics.
· Follow all safety procedures.
· Keeps work areas, tools, and accessories in a safe, clean, and orderly condition at all times.
· PIV required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have the 309A license and/or 442A Industrial license.
· High level of electronic aptitude in the general electrical maintenance area, as well as have a great attention to detail.
· High school graduate or equivalent.
· Industrial plant maintenance experience preferred.
· Must be capable of standing, walking, and climbing throughout the shift and working at varying heights & occasional handling of objects up to 75lbs.
· The incumbent is exposed to extremes in temperature, dust, fumes, noise and humidity.
· Must be available to work overtime without notice.
· Must be able to access all areas of the plant.
