Description

We are seeking a skilled Central Tactical Purchasing Team Representative to join our procurement team. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless execution of purchasing processes and bridging communication between internal departments, suppliers, and contract management. The ideal candidate will manage purchase orders, coordinate deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and support the implementation of strategic procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Requisition Management:
    • Process and convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders while ensuring compliance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Order Management:
    • Monitor and manage open purchase orders, oversee order confirmations, and make necessary adjustments in collaboration with requestors and suppliers.
  • Invoice Processing:
    • Handle incoming invoices using designated tools, resolve mismatches, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Delivery Coordination:
    • Oversee product deliveries to various locations, ensure timely receipt, and update relevant procurement systems.
  • Procurement Master Data Management:
    • Maintain and validate procurement master data, including contracts and supplier information, ensuring alignment with strategic procurement guidelines.
  • Issue Resolution:
    • Manage claims with suppliers and internal stakeholders, oversee corrective actions, and document outcomes to support continuous improvement.
  • Support Strategic Initiatives:
    • Assist procurement teams with data collection, budget alignment, and the execution of category-specific improvement projects.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Adhere to quality, safety, and environmental standards, contributing to a zero-incident workplace and aligning with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of prior experience in the areas of tactical purchasing in an international company.
  • Broader experience in supply chain and international business in the industrial chemical market is preferred.
  • Excellent command of both oral and written in the local language and English is required (min. C1)
  • Good command of both oral and written additional language is beneficial, ideally French and/or German (min. B1)
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills and proficiency with ERP systems
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
