Electrical & Automation Lead New South Wales

Description
  • Responsible for the five product phases (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing) relating to Electrical and Automation Projects (as defined by reporting Line) across New South Wales, Operational sites.
  • Actively support local maintenance and operational teams in optimizing & troubleshooting site electrical and automation systems.
  • Create new or modify existing PLC and SCADA programmes to support plant improvement, reliability and capital investment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and maintain strong working knowledge of industry standards.
  • Liaise with Project or Site Managers to co-ordinate, plan, and execute all defined tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with ALL Omya’s policies and procedures.
  • Implement continuous improvement of plant assets, infrastructure and process sys-tems.
  • Support standardisation of Omya automation platforms to align with group standards. For example, Omya 10 and Cimplicity (where applicable).
  • Lead site commissioning for electrical, automation and instrumentation components of projects across New South Wales, Operational Sites.
  • Take immediate action to; control and report Environmental, Health & Safety, Quality risks and prevent incidents.
