Job main responsibilities
- Servicing Consumer Goods industries including Food, Pharma to maintain and manage existing business and customer base.
- Develop new business opportunities within Omya manufactured products.
- Develop new business for Distribution (traded) products with a focus on Food Ingredients.
- Maximise profitability and manage receivables for all existing customers.
- Provide marketplace feedback particularly concerning competitive activity.
- Ensure a safe working environment
Candidate profile requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Chemistry or Food Science disciplines
- 2-3 years of experience in sales and account management within the Food Industry, sales experience in chemical distribution environment advantageous
- Team player, open communication style with willingness to impart and share knowledge at all levels.
- Highly motivated and results driven.
- Excellent level of planning, development and implementation of sales and marketing plans.
- Computer literate in MS O360 and willingness to learn and use SAP, Sales Force, OMIS, OPUS and other internal systems.
- Frequent travel within the sales territory of Victoria. Elsewhere in Australia and occasionally beyond may be required.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Full work rights in Australia.
