Omyasphere 900 are hollow glass microspheres, derived from soda lime borosilicate glass, which are chemically inert and water-resistant. Spherical and hermetic, they have low density, high compressive strength and high brightness.

Omyasphere 900 is based on single cell hollow glass microspheres known for their excellent compressive strength, capable of resisting to high pressure and harsh processing conditions.

 

The Omyasphere series offers an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio due to its low effective density, providing lightweighting benefits. The spherical morphology and single hermetic cell support low binding and water absorption. During processing the addition of Omyasphere results in high-stability and reduced viscosity build-up.
