We are looking for an experienced and driven HR professional ready to take the next step in their career. As HR Manager for the Netherlands, you will oversee the full spectrum of HR responsibilities and play a key role in shaping our organization, supporting business growth, and enhancing the employee experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for approximately 70 FTE across two production sites in Moerdijk and Amsterdam. Together with your direct report (HR & Office Assistant), you will manage day-to-day HR operations and partner closely with senior leadership to develop and implement HR policies aligned with our global strategy and local business needs. You will be part of the REU HR team (West Europe) and report to the Director Human Resource West Europe.

What you’ll be doing
· Manage day-to-day HR operations across two sites (Moerdijk & Amsterdam)
· Act as a trusted partner to local management and liaise with regional HR
· Ensure effective workforce planning and staffing aligned with business needs
· Coordinate compensation and benefits processes, including annual reviews and benchmarking
· Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws, including union and works council interactions
· Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
· Facilitate performance management cycles and support employee development
· Manage payroll accuracy and maintain clear HR cost reporting
· Support internal communications and foster employee engagement
· Contribute to HR budgeting and resource planning
· Identify and implement improvements in HR processes and tools
What you bring
We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
Your background:
· A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
· At least 5 years of experience in a senior HR role, ideally in an industrial or technical setting.
· Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law and HR best practices.
· Fluent in Dutch and English.
Your skills:
· Solid understanding of compensation & benefits, recruitment, performance management and employee relations.
· Confident working with data, reports and budgets.
· Comfortable working with HR systems and MS Office; experience with Workday and/or AFAS is a plus, or willingness to learn

· You are a self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.
Working conditions
Hours: 30 hours per week (minimum of 4 days)
Location:
Main location is our plant in Moerdijk but travel one every one / 2 weeks to our plant in Amsterdam.Interested?
