Join our Internal Audit team and play a key role in strengthening risk management, internal controls, and compliance across the Omya Group. As part of a global function, you will contribute to audits that support continuous improvement, integrity, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
Main responsibilities:
- Execute internal audits throughout the Omya Group, in line with the Audit Plan.
- Identify, assess risks and evaluate internal controls within audited processes. Ensure thorough and traceable documentation of audit activities.
- Identify and develop recommendations to close any identified gaps during audits.
- Regularly follow up on the implementation of recommended action plans.
- Create an environment of compliance and integrity towards laws, regulations, security, environmental safety, financial reporting and controlling.
- Support and assist management in improving the control, risk management and corporate governance processes.
- Enforce respective process adherence globally within the Omya Group.
- Build new knowledge and experience systematically.
- Review, understand and identify risks from supporting documentation provided by the auditees. Suggest ideas on improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop strong working relationships with the auditees and build a level of influence with Omya local Management teams.
Qualifications:
- Master/Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent
- Three years of experience in Finance and/or Audit, or consulting
- CA / CPA, Bachelor’s in commerce or MBA (Master’s in business administration)
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in Internal audit projects
- Technical experience in Finance, Operations or Regulatory Compliance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and proactively
- Mindset of providing value added services
- Open-minded and willingness to develop and acquire knowledge of the company’s business
- Hands-on attitude, result driven and interested in working in a multicultural environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Solid user of MS Office and knowledge in SAP is an advantage
- Fluent in English, any additional language is an advantage
