First time to co-exhibit at the K 2025

Omya Performance Polymers Distribution, a newly established company formed earlier this year, brings together Omya’s global polymer distribution network and the recently acquired Distrupol— the leading polymer distributor in the UK, Ireland, and the Nordic countries. This strategic integration aims to better serve the evolving global market.

The new entity will make its debut at K 2025, and showcasing its latest innovations and a comprehensive portfolio of specialty materials.

Fostering decarbonization for greener future

Omya is collaborating with visionary partners across the value chain to establish a new benchmark in sustainability. At the heart of this initiative is OMYALOOP® FC, a 100% recovered calcium carbonate that boosts recycled content, supports decarbonization, and complies with stringent EU Directives and is verified by Bureau Veritas.

With a certified carbon footprint as low as 10 kg CO₂ per ton, OMYALOOP® FC is a game-changer for circularity in materials. Produced using green electricity, it reduces emissions by two-thirds — helping customers significantly lower their environmental impact and meet ambitious sustainability targets.

The power of lightweighting

The use of lightweight fillers dramatically reduces the weight of end products, particularly in the polymers and construction industry, where our Omyasphere series contribute to significant reductions in transport costs and associated emissions, improvements in performance and greater affordability of end products.

Reduce environmental impact in hygiene

The inclusion of high-purity, treated calcium carbonate as a functional mineral in polymer products significantly enhances both performance and sustainability, particularly in the hygiene market.

From breathable films using Omyafilm that improve user comfort, to cost-effective nonwoven fabrics with Omyafiber offering superior tactile properties, these solutions help reduce environmental impact. With a life cycle assessment (LCA) value of less than 300 kg CO₂ equivalent per ton of CaCO₃, they offer a low-carbon alternative to traditional materials.
